Striped End Grain Coasters

These end grain coasters are made from mahogany, maple, and walnut. The end grain is the part of the wood that is visible if looking at a stump (versus face or edge grain that is near the exterior bark of the tree.) Thus you can see the actual rings of the tree in each coaster. They have been finely sanded and then finished with linseed oil and beeswax.

The coasters are approximately 3 3/8 x 3 3/8 x 3/8" tall. Each set includes five coasters nestled into a holder made from walnut and maple dowels.
