About Sun & Stars

Sun & Stars Studio is created and run by Mae Shamaly & Levi Gardner, partners both in art and life.

Originally from the Midwest, they met at an art show where Levi was vending and began a beautiful relationship. Two years later they had moved across the country and began Sun & Stars. Though both of their lives had always orbited art, their decision to jointly pursue a creative lifestyle was rekindled and made possible by their relationship.

Working with mediums of wood and pastel, their work is predominately two-dimensional art inspired by natural vistas.

Mae has worked with a variety of mediums and today mostly works with pastels. Levi is a wood artisan and together they design and build art including small furniture, jewelry, and other functional pieces.
